Hello from the Writing Room.
Meet Sam and Daisy, who aren’t nearly as innocent as they look. In fact, they kind of rule the roost in our family, but we wouldn’t be without them.
We love animals. Our family grew up with a menagerie at home.
We had goldfish, terrapins, and gerbils living in our garage. A collection of constantly multiplying budgies resided in a garden aviary with two rabbits, who each mated with a wild rabbit one of our cats brought in. The offspring of these liaisons found a home in the local children’s zoo.
We also had a rough collie called Bonnie, the said two cats, sisters, Tibby and Fluffy, And oh yes, a pregnant guinea pig called Flopsie, who produced the most delightful family of little Flopsies.
I don’t know how I found the time to write, but somehow I did.
My Books
My first short story appeared in The People’s Friend magazine more than ten years ago followed by other publications world-wide and a flurry of Pocket Novels that are still available as Large Print books in UK public libraries.
Things have progressed even further since then and I have now published almost thirty books in three crime series and standalones romances.
The fact that I’m still writing these books is down to the support of loyal readers like you. A very humble thank you to everyone.
Strike is coming back!
Yes, here they are…
Tom Burke and Holliday Grainger are returning to UK screens this December for the next instalment of Strike.
The Ink Black Heart, the sixth story of the BBC’s hit crime drama series, is based on J.K. Rowling’s best-selling novel written under the pseudonym Robert Galbraith.
I’ve read the book. It’s long, and a bit confusing in parts, so I’m curious to see what the script writers do with it. But however they deal with the plot, I’m sure we’re all in for a treat.
Bring it on!
